Web Design Philosophy
In our minds, the design philosophy we adhere to is good ol' common sense. Unfortunately, too many design firms out there just don't seem to get it. The majority of them are only interested in showing off thier artistic abilities, without consideration of how to effectively gets your message across.
We believe your Web site vistors...
...will appreciate a site that looks great, but places form ahead of function.
...may not know who you are yet, and may have to find you through a search engine. Our sites are all optimized for high search engine rankings.
...should see pages that load quickly, if not instantly.
...are interested in getting information about what you offer, rather than watching an "Intro" movie before being allowed into your site.
...do not like to wait for lengthy transition effects each time they click a button.
...could come in using any one of a number of different browsers and operating systems, and your site should accommodate all of them.
...are not interested in downloading and installing plugins in order to view the content within your site.
...like to use the browser navigation tools they've grown accustomed to, such as the Back button, therefore your site should support them.
...should be presented with information in a typeface that is easy to read.
...should be able to easily find the information they are looking for.
If you need a site designed (or redesigned), and share our way of thinking, give us a shout. We'd be happy to help.
